Week 5

Week 5! This week we learned about transportation, rectangles, the color green, and the number 4! On Thursday, we had two preschool dad's, a firefighter and a police officer, bring in some of their vehicles for our students to check out! They got to walk through a firetruck and a SWAT car, and take home a couple of souvenirs. On Friday, we had a friend from El Puente visit and teach us about Hispanic Heritage, bomba dancing, and how to make tamales! We also made cars out of paper plates for our transportation craft.

Week 4

Week  4 complete! We learned about community helpers, triangles, the color yellow, and the number 4! We played with playdoh, and also with shaving cream and food coloring (so much fun, but so messy!) made firetrucks out of paper, and listened to a police officer tell us about what police officers do. Some of our friends got to try on some gear! This was a fun one.

Week 3

Week 3! The theme for this week was apples, so we learned about apples, ate apples, drank apple juice, and made an apple tree craft! This week we introduced glue, pencils, and watercolor. We also learned about squares, the number 2, and the color orange.  P.E.!

Week 2

Hello everyone! Week 2 down. We started learning about rhyming words and the sounds our names make, as well as circles and the number 1! We also colored self-portraits while talking about what makes each person unique. On Thursday, everyone was so excited to get their picture taken! I hope we got mostly big smiles. 🤞 Here’s some pictures from the week, and I’ll see you all here next Friday (or Saturday, whoops)!
